1) can help but feel cheated... emotionally cheated...

Hun has been reading the 'Secret' recently...
She is very inspired and motivated by it.
Now that she is stepping out on her own, I WISH her all the Best in her work.

She will want me to have a more positive outlook on what has happened..
so i will try to interpret the above,

1) Now i know who are the friends that i can fight alongside during a war

2) I can only do better for the next assignment

3) The old saying, 'old things don't leave, the new will not come'.
I will have more time for new students!

like a fish, finding a solid rock to hide from the turbulent waves....

as i look back... was i too naive to ride the wave?
now that the wave some how knocked u out...
and now... a lil dizzy from the knock.
trying to gather my thoughts, pick myself up again and carry on...

heard theres another big wave coming...
should i jump into it? ride along with it? hm...
don't like the feeling of the aftermarth... hm...

School is not helping too...
im taking 4 modules this sem...
2 of them, motivation and work stress...
im suppose to learn how to identify, apply them...
but i end up with no motivation and plenty of stress...
its no help at all lah...

sorry guys, i just need to show off some
wonderful things my girlfriend did for me

Weeks before my exams, she wrote me this note,
to encourage me to study hard.
and it was attach to a sweet treat made by her
(the picture was straight, but when uploaded, it changed)

this is the sweet treat. = ) yummy

the nite when i was admitted to the hospital,
was being quarantine... becoz i had fever
i did not have any food since afternoon...
then baby came to my rescue at about 11pm,
made porridge and asked the nurse to bring it in to me
it tastes sweet, becoz she went through all the trouble to get it to me.

when i got out of the hospital, i only had 2 days to prepare for my exams,
she cooked tomato base pasta, with loads of meat

and more meat... = )

the next day, we decided to have noodles
juz had this craving for it....
then she added eggs with tomato and prawns...
she peeled every single one of it...

this was another occasion that she cooked fried rice.
loads of ingredients, so tasty too...

she also cooked prawns

Thank you Dear, for being such a darling.
always looking after me during exams as well as the fevers.
your cooking is getting better each time.
i think its in the genes, inherited them from your dad.
i may not know how to express the feelings and
thoughts when you did all these and more for me at that point of time.
but i really appreciate them. hugz

wanted to get one of this for a long time, but wasn't able to
so when i knew of a friend that had it, i asked if i could try it
had the license long ago, but did not practice, so very blur on the controls...
maybe next time... i'll get my own

Sick again

Went to the doctor 3 times in 2 days for high fever and this is the amount of med he gave

Fever did not subside, went to the hospital at night.
they immediately put me on drip.
3 bags within 2 hours...

had to stay in for 4 days... bill mounting to 1k... all the scanning and test done...
fever went up to as high as 39 during the nights.
doctors are unable to determine the cause of it and why it did not go away

I couldn't prepare for my exams which just ended.
just wrote what i can remember and the revision the day before the paper.
Finally its all done... now have to wait for result

Last nite's wind was crazy...
i saw a white plastic chair flew up to chest level and hit a nearby car on the windscreen.
i think the car owner must be damn sian.
in this case, i don't think he can claim any one for the damages.
it is considered an act of God...
So pple with their own transport, beware of where u park.

5th Sem

Work/school has just started.
there is a sudden influx of students into the gym...
n this is only the first week.. wonder whats gotten into them.
all the orientation was packed, all the passes given out.
hopefully things will get better soon.

Wooohooo!! wkend was all fun. had swimming classes with hyper kids
and the long awaited mahjiong...
this is the first time i got this combination. self touch some more.... wahahaha = p

and i got a WII... it was the previous week thou...
aunt lilian saw that i had it, tried it and bought another set for my cousins.
welcome to the WII family. = )
cant play WII now, so i left it in the safe hands of my baby. (",)

exams are coming, but i have not started.
its bad... but the engine has not started... i tried..
i will work on it...
workload has increased significantly, more hours, more classes.
i don't know how it will turn out. hope it will be good.

I was having a busy wkend.
Rushing around to get things done.
And my assignments due today.
It's all done... don't feel like going through them again.
Submitted them last night.

its been a bitter sweet wkend for me.
bitter because of some people's inconsiderate comments.
it was in a sense hurtful for me.
my baby was out to her friend's party.
so i sent her there and picked her up after that.
it was late and i don't like the feeling of her going home by herself.
it not safe, esp when there are so many foreign talents in her area.
so i decided to spend a lil more time with her, sending her home.
it is not a chore, i like to talk to her on the way back.
we hardly use the phone now, so on the way back is the best time to find out how is her day.
so as i was waiting, some party goers walked by, group of guys n girls.
He commented, see all the 'ahmads' (Term commonly use for drivers)
i don't know if that guy was making fun of others to impress the girls around him.
but it was definitely insensitive.
wait till he has a girl friend... his perception should change.
i urge you, friends to keep comments to yourself, esp those that may hurt others.
i quote from a good friend of mine, 'be quick to listen, slow to judge'

This is the last wk of our contract...
nothing is said... all is uncertain.. feeling lost...
Guess its a sign for me to move on...
Have been searching for jobs recently.
Its not that others are not hiring, just that the feeling of moving into a new environment.

Exams are nearing also, assignments due the end of this wk... its really hectic.
One of my assignment requires me to interview parent and kids.
It really touched me...
I asked the mother, what kind of reward does she think the kids wants most...
Her reply was more materialistic.
I would have given the same answer.
But to my surprise, the kid said the best reward she ever had, her mother's SMILE.

so to all the parents out there...

Baby's competition is over, training has reduced...
things seems to be heading for the better.
not that i drag helping her, but its time to rest...
but rest seems to be running away from me....
more assignments to be done, datelines....
and recently, my job has became very uncertain.
things are not fixed or confirmed, im just hanging.
now i finally feel what others have been complaining about,
having to do two persons workload for the same price...
im also thinking of moving on...
was thinking of pacing myself, doing my homework early.
stayed home the whole of saturday just to work on 1 assignment,
hoping that sunday i can go out and relax....

This is the start of a new week for everyone.
Baby's cheer competition was over the weekend that just passed.
I have witness some really amazing stuff there, i would encourage every to see it.
Like most sports competition, some teams win, others git to try harder.
Would like to congratulate, MGS for winning the both the primary & secondary category, 2nd & Champs respectively.
I would like to salute the guys from DECS.
Its been great knowing you guys, feeling the passion from you all.
Lets fight harder next yr, be Stronger, better, faster..
This sport has grown alot in the past few years, standards have been pushed higher.

Didn't have the time recently to go shopping, been busy with school work,
work and baby is training hard for the coming competition.
We saw this 2 pix at the super mart... that really perk us up

i think its baby radish... than baby start to sing in chinese...

seriously, what is this? pear, dates or coconut?
we even suggest that the dates or the pear could be soaked in the coconut.. LOL.

then on the way back....
guess the 3 blind mice didn't escape this time...

Didn't know if i should laugh and be happy or feel sad.
Laugh & be happy cause the rats are being exterminated. = )
Sad because i used to keep white mice and small animals, lives are so fragile..

things begin to look gloomy these days...
things no longer look as strong as before, it is unstable.
is everything destined?
i don't know what will happen in a month's time...
it kinda scares me...
but i hope it will force me to get my other things done...

read baby's blog, she was feeling all emotional.
she used to be super busy and all, but now the total opposite...
feeling lost all of a sudden, feeling empty and blank.
i wish i could say i understand how she feels.
maybe im blessed as a guy, everything is planned for, pri sch, sec sch, poly, ns, etc...
i guess the initial part when you step out, you will feel blank...
but once you found the purpose or aim, you will have more drive.

Im happy to see her so refreshed after a trip with her gang.

HECTIC WK

Last wkend was crazy.... rushing around to get things done....

1) Last min shopping for the celebration,
2) Unisim lesson just before celebration,
3) Balloon deco just before guest arrives,
4) Help out in the celebration,
5) Clear up the aftermath of the celebration
6) Swim class 8 am next day
7) Come back and check out of the chalet
8) Returned all the items that we borrowed for the party,
9) Prep for the Zhijun's Bday in the evening...

It was baby's 21st bday, booked a chalet and invited truck loads of pple to come...
It was hectic, but im sure Baby was happy.
I don't have the photos now as Baby is in Viet with her class-mates, grad trip...
Heres one that i found...
will have to wait for her to come back for more pictures

and the very next day, her team mate, Zhi Jun's Bday celebration.
made 4 pillars with the help of my Baby for her deco... = ) hope she like it.
She said that she would bring it home some how.... i wonder...

Today is the last day of the DPA wellness program...

Just before night class today, my gym buddy was fumming....
I can understand why... its tough seeing your girlfriend being 'bullied'
He almost smashed the glass panel in the gym and crushed the metal handle.
I would have to agree that some games are pushing the limits of individuals.
It has become very physical and way out of individual's comfort zone.
I was once a camp instructor, group leader...
Rules are rules... where have they gone??
Guys do not lose anything from the games, but girls...
No boyfriend can stand aside, and not do or feel anything...

Just came back from a short tryout/interview....
Its amazing how the industry has evolved and how much back dated I am.
Its time i wake up and do something about it.
There is no right or wrong, just that there is an improved version of it now...
So need to upgrade. I would say that its a humbling experience...
Not all teachers are up with the times, not all are gd.
I will improve.

Had a primary school gathering at LiWen's house. Thank you for hosting it.
It been like.... 14 yrs?? thats super long...
Its great seeing them again, all grown up, mostly working, some married.
Its really funny to look at the year book and laugh at how we looked like last time.
We all had a good laugh, had alot of catching up to do...
Then... we played ROCK BAND.... PS3....
Its crazy lah... cant coordinate for nuts... wonder how they did it.
But its really addictive...
Games, chit-chat, gossip included till midnight... gosh... time flies.

I have 2 elder bros, n my parents are trying their very best to make ends meet.
Its in the past liao, will not hold it against anyone.
Friends out there, when u have a child, such celebration is impt for their development and growth, although we may not see it immediately, but it will go along way.

I am super pissed...
While i was driving out of school, there was this white lexus with a young couple inside.
I was ahead of them at the traffic light, but was side by side at the next junction.
The white lexus then was edging forward, reving his accelerator.
Initially i thought he was warming up his car as the weather these days are cold...
The female passenger then looked over and said something to the guy,
he then edge forward more and stepped harder on the accelerator.... then soon.....
Their window was down and the female pointed her middle finger out of her window!!!

Different parts of the seating area have different concepts, designs.

The place is rather new, not much pple was there.
Food and service was good.
After the first time we went to Shokudo,
we still have not learnt the culture......
Being the hungry and 'Kiasu' Singaporean,
we went around afew times before deciding what to eat.
So at each round, we made an order... total 3 rounds.
But we have yet to find our seat and settle down,
but the food is already following us!!
The staff just stood patiently behind us,
did not want to be rude and ask us to be seated,
just followed us around.

Found it really funny lah....
i think the first dish walked around behind us for at least 1 round

Baby cant stop thinking of Japan, she misses Japan alot.
Hm... lucky we have alot of Jap food here... if not...

Hello,

as you guys have seen in the previous post, my first trip is to amsterdam.
then sailed with them to Scotland, houndpoint.

i din know that i was in Scotland until they told me

we got off... n walked arnd

we had to walk abt 45mins to get to the train station la... up & down slopes

took the train to hay market, which is near the castle...

there was many pple on the streets... chinese are so common there

after 30mins of walkin from the train station... we thought this was the castle.... but no....

after 10mins... we thought this was the one.... noooooo......

5th trip to China

i juz came back not long ago, last tues to be exact.
and i will b leavin again this wkend.
the last trip was to China, Qingdao then transit at Beijing.

many things happen when i was in China....
after i set sail for China, the very next day they had the earthquake that killed many.

when i was there, i learnt alot about the cultures of the chinese.
actually we are not much different from them, juz abit more toned down.
when i was on land, they declared the 3 days of mourning. so most places was closed.
it was quite an adventure to experience it first hand.

i will be leaving again this wkend to Korea.
will be bac with more pics.

Went to Ikea alexandra to have meat balls, but it was under construction. So we walked arnd to look for another place to dine. then we chance upon..... Zhou's kitchen directly opp ikea

Hun wanted to eat peking duck....

so here it is.... peking duck

this is another of Hun's fav... red bean pancake

on the whole, Zhou's kitchen has great ambience. staff is very friendly and patient.
would recommend this place to those who want to eat nice chinese food.

now my colleague conducting orientation, it is for the benefit of the user.
but some of the users, knn... duwan to listen, walk away... typical 'foreign talent'

well... dunno if its gd news or not, i will b leaving this wkend again.
this would be the fifth trip, to mainland China. dunno which part.
the ship will be going to afew ports in China, but i can onli sign off at the 3rd port.
so hope i can get to walk arnd, at least get something out of it.

mood is dampened by the things happening arnd.... sian...

1st trip to Holland

Flew in to amsterdam, schphol airport. its my first time on european ground

after hrs of waiting, decided to grab something to bite

walked around the airport, there was juz no response from the company or the agent

was hungry again, found a small mini mart

fruit drink & bread was next

walked afew rounds before coming bac the same location to wait for the agent

saw many pple eating this. couldnt resist anymore, so i got one for myself

it was before christmas, so quite abit of deco

agents, but non of them is looking for me

wondered why i ate so many times? coz i was there waiting for
14hrs before the agent came for me

SIM got a new gym, just came back from the orientation. not alot of equipment, but enough.

but its only for their full time students now, so i cant use it. sian....

took a small boat to reach the ship, an hr bum boat ride

it was a 16 hr ride up to Tai pei to meet up with aunt jenny who has resided there for the past dunno how many yrs with her husband. went to this place to eat.

3rd trip to Iran Conti

another pic of us waiting for the car... this is the 4th time it broke down.
it was a long 18 hrs ride from the port to the hotel that we r housed in.

many things happen in btwn, nasty things that i wish i could forget.

about 14hrs of rd, we finally got to a petrol station to top up n get refreshed.

so logically what would u do? search for a loo n piss or something rite?

so i got off the car, asked the person collecting money for the petrol where is the loo.

the loo is juz infront of us, juz asked as it wont hurt.

but to my horror... he pointed to the road n said,' there, on the road'

i was like.... 'huh', then i got the hint, so i went back into the car.

2nd incident, abt 2 more hrs later... there was this 2 young military guys...

they opened the car door n got in, only 1 can manage to get into the front seat.

the other guy open the back door, tried to get in, but we were already maxed out.

they made us pull over, got our identification. they looked at the other 2 indian's identification n returned them.

but they refuse to return mine, then they were holding their batons as if they want fight.

do i look like a terrorist or something? i was already super pissed by the long ride in the tiny car, almost sent back to the ship coz the agent did not put enough money under the table to get me out of the land, squashed in the back seat with not much air to breath, car that broke down 5 times, can not piss in the loo. the last thing i need is some young punk waving the baton at me. im all charged up for some action at this point of time, got out of the car, stretched myself n wait for him to draw first blood. we were there for abt 30mins b4 his supervisor came, saw my passport n waved us to leave. was alil' disapoointed that i could not release some steam.

it was buzzling with tourist from all over.

they had some lucky draw, giving away a porche. Qatar was giving away Merc, Bahrain giving away Lambor... these countries..... too generous

3rd trip to Iran

This is my 3rd trip, it is to Iran.

Had to wake up like freaking early to board the ship lah. but it was worth it,

manage to watch baby n her gang's performance preview. this is west coast pier

from the pier, took a small boat out to sea to board the ship. see the ship with the blue hull dead ahead? baby had to stay in sch to train for competition, so she couldnt send me off, but she called to wish bon voyage. = )

guess wad... look at the gangway(stairs)... ya... had to climb up

4th trip to Bahrain

this trip was ok, not as excitin & dangerous as the previous one.
but quite afew things happened, both onboard as well as on the way back.

this is the first ship that has mirrors in the gym.
although this ship is much older, but the facilities are cleaner, looks new.
from this, it struck my mind, it is either they are gd at maintenance or they never use at all.
n thru my stay, they proved my second thought correct... nobody goes there... sian...
tried to motivate them to exercise, scare them abit so that they will change their habits.
after each lesson, u can tell by the look on their faces... they look guilty n sad at their results.
for a moment, i thought that its the changing point of their lives....
but once i dismiss the clas.... *puff* they go back to their original state... as if nothing has happened... continues with the mountain they create on their plate during meal time.
they would stack their food so high... as if they are competing who can go the highest.
n to top it off... loads of gravy that follows from the top to the brim of the huge plate.
seiously, that would be enough to keep me full for 2 days.

through my stay there, everyday i would spend time in the gym.
but no one even peeped into the gym. ha...
so one fine day, i decided to go look for them.
n there they are, sittin infront of the Big screen, watchin DVDs that they have already seen so many times n are even familiar with the script, blowing smoke as if they want to get a feel of genting highlands.
then the next day in class, i casually ask which is more important to them, movies or keepin fit.
they choose the former... MOVIES!! they screamed.... -_-" win liao....

on the way back

took a plane from Bahrain, transit at Qatar before heading back home, here.
seriously, i thought i was in India or Philipines la.
there are soooooo many of them at the airport... the airport staff... cafeteria staff... n even those who are taking the plane, all filled with them...
the plane smelly exactly like u walk along serangoon, desker area... the mus**fa area.
when i found my seat, there was this other guy already beside the seat, kept starin at me.
at first... i felt super akward lah... like... was my pants unzipped? or missing a nose?
then later, i thought... aiya... he nv see us chinese b4.... or mayb he is really into the chinese super stars like jackie, jet, bruce.... he was taking the window seat, so he was leaning over the window side, but he was reachin for the other arm rest... as if he is that big!! or mayb he juz want to air his armpit.... piangs.... n the stare continued till he left the plane...
then there was some commotion going on behind.... then one guy, asked the steward for his meal.
i was like... 'din we juz ate the sanwich?'
the steward was very patient, explaining to the passenger..... 'sir, we just served the meal'
then the passenger got very upset... raised his voice... 'Meal?? wad meal? wheres my meal? i paid for my tickets, its not cheap u know? see... it says here, meal included. where is it?' u know when they talk, the accent is very strong, n u can picture in ur head how their head will shake from side to side? i was like almost bursting out liao lah... the steward bo bian, ask his senior or superior to attend to the difficult passenger... as soon as the steward is not within sight, the difficult rude passenger turned into a cheeky punk.... gigglin n laughing with his friend....
then before the senior or supervisor came, he again took it out on another steward.... same thing, same line, every one else was lookin now... steward responded calmly,' sir, our meals are served, everyone got the same. would you like another set?' the passenger exclaimed... 'Of course!'
then as the steward fetches the sanwich... they were like laughing loudly as if they happy that got to play punk n get another meal out of it.
as soon as the plane landed... they all rushed to get their bags n pushing their way to the exit doors. wow... wad a sight... i nv never i would witness this, live. seen it on pix n tv, abt how they squeeze on their public transport... climbin n hangin on to the tranport for dear life. its looks exactly the same... so juz sat there... watch them in action... well... u muz appluad them for the same evacuation of the plane... if not for them, it would hav been much longer to disembark..

hav to wait 6 hrs at the airport for the connecting flight.... paid $30 for food... like canteen style...
will try to upload the next time round. daylight robbery...
when i board the plane... i thought i was heading to Indonesia or Philipines lah...
the whole plane is filled with them. i was like... wah... these pple are so hardworkin...
left home to work.. n then now heading home with a big fat pay check... we gotta learn from them, their resilence... but the service staff that i encountered... was not so friendly, maybe they hav long working hrs, tired n grouchy....

kk... too much liao....
next time i will try to write n upload together... so can see the pix, n read the text...
